Message from the Director
ELCC has been the leader in online teaching and learning in Canada for the last sixteen years. Our unique model combines the trust and quality of an independent school education, the flexibility and choice of online learning, and the support and structure of the classroom.
Working with teachers from our member schools who receive extensive training in creating an engaging learning environment online, our courses create and build community between students across Canada blending synchronous and asynchronous learning, online and offline activities and group and individual activities.
Our online environment has been specially designed to support interactive and engaging learning experiences for teachers and students, making conversation, feedback, assessment and observation easy and effective. Courses blend text, audio and video, and students are actively involved in the learning process at all times.
Students learn together with their peers from across Canada connecting them with different cultures, experiences and backgrounds which are vital in fostering a diverse, open-minded and compassionate learning culture.
